Pine

A lone little pine tree.

On the edge of a cliff.

With the clouds above,

And the earth below.

How can you know,

To keep from falling?
Do your roots dig deep?
Do your branches grow strong?
What is it that makes you live so long,

With out slipping or falling at all.

How do you not fall?
