Halloween candy.

Books can take you anywhere.
From sitting in the parlor chair,
To over hill and underhill.
Across the plains and over the till.
To magical worlds and there and back.
There is nothing that you would lack.
Flying over London Bridge.
Conversing with a talking midge.
From cats and bats and talking rats.
To lava fire on forsaken isles,
Books can take you many miles.
Twisting and turning, leaping and churning.
Surprise twists and lovers' trysts.

Makes you really think.
Into your mind it will sink.
It will make you cry, or laugh.
Books are amazing.
